The Auld Lang Syne tea cosy was inspired by the song that is usually sung on New Years Eve. It's the song written by Robert Burns, and everyone crosses arms and holds hand when its sung.With the song having Scottish roots, I designed the cosy to have four kilt wearing characters around the cosy. They are all singing along and joining their hands.
The kilts are a great way to used up small balls of yarn in your yarn stash.
The Auld Lang Syne tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints and is made from double thickness yarn for extra insulation.
